Ice keeps coming out of unit. I removed the pad and used it to keep Cradle Actuator foward and the ice stops. The Cradle actuator does not come foward on its own after pressing for ice, water or crushed ice. Is there a spring which pushes this actuator foward?

Answer Hello CK. Check and see if the spring WR2X8663 broke on the unit. It holds the door closed and is used for the lever. Also, make sure the actuator WR17X3493 is not broke on the unit.

I have the same issue as the previous question. The flapper does not open when the dispenser turns on. The ice gets stuck requiring the door to be open and the ice pushed through or to reach up and open the flapper. Is there a fix for this problem?

Answer Hi Mike. You will need to investigate the broken parts of the paddle , actuator arm or the flapper solenoid assy. If the flapper assy. is not closing or broken on the backside, this part # is WR62X107. If the door solenoid is not completely opening this part # is WR17X11653. Thank You.

I've replaced the dispenser board, the solenoid, the door crank and the door spring but the door doesn't open completely and ice gets stuck. I'm just wondering what this part does. I don't remember seeing it.

Answer Hello Phil. The cradle actuator WR17X3493 is located behind the push pad. When you press the glass into the dispenser, the actuator presses the micro-switch and turns the dispenser on. Hope this helps.
