Where can I find my model number?

My freezer is at 10 degrees F and the circulator fan in the freezer is blowing cold air when I bypass the door switches. But the temperature in the fresh food section is only 60 degrees F. I suspect the damper is bad. I do not know if it has any electronic controls to it. From the picture it seems to be purely mechanical. I am also not sure how to access it properly on the back wall. Is it it in anyway electronically controlled on this model and how do I get to it. I would like pictures and instructions if possible. David Kraner

Answer David, you're correct, the "Auto Damper" assembly is a non electronic air control /baffle, once you remove the upper shelves and light shield and panel, you'll find the assembly mounted to the rear left wall in the upper corner. The assembly is mounted to the wall by two(2) screws, remove the screws and remove the assembly.(it may want to stick to the wall, so be prepared to tug. Make sure you get a good seal between the body of the assembly and the wall,when you install the new part. Thanks.
