A week ago, my refrigerator stopped running. I have been able to make it start running again by manually moving the defrost timer (on the back wall of fridge near temperature control knob) a quarter turn to the right. It has been stopping anywhere between 12-24 hour cycles. Each time, manually moving the timer kicks it back on. When the fridge is not running, the light is still functioning and the breaker does not pop, so there is not an issue with the power. Do you think I need a new defrost timer or defrost sensor or do you think there could be another issue? Thank you!

The freezer is freezing, but the fridge is warm. I believe the fan in the freezer is not turning. I think the fan is bad.

Latest Questions

I have water build up under the vegetable drawers that I have to soakup every few days.Where would I find a drain plug. I see on the back there is a drain tube running down the outside. Does that pull out or can I get to it behind the temp control panel?

The freezer works well, but it looks like it is not defrosting. The lower part, the fresh food section is not cooling and the fan, although working, is not pushing cool air into the fridge. It cools when I turn off the entire unit and plug it back in for a couple of days. What part should I replace?
