The part no I need is WR9X436 and the model no is TBH21DPE. It is a 12 hour defrost timer. Your website lists the part no as WR09X0436 and the model no as TBH21DPERAD but this a 6 hour timer. I don't know if the "RAD" makes a difference. Using your part and model no it says it is compatible but I need to be sure because how can a 6 hour timer be a substitute for a 12 hour timer? Pls help.

My GE TFX27F Side by Side has stopped cooling. The compressor and fan are both inopertive, however the lights and diagnostic panel still function. Can you tell me where to start looking for the problem? I have the back lower panel cover off. It was working just fine and quit working yesterday. I have a volt-ohm meter but no wiring diagram. HELP Please!!

My refrigerator and freezer work when the temperature is lower outside but now with the warmer weather neither is cool enough. I took off the panel inside the freezer and there was no frost on the coils. The fans in the freezer and by the condenser are working and I've cleaned out all of the dust from underneath. What now? Thanks.

Looking at my defrost timer the small shaft is not turning. In addition I hear a slight grinding noise from it. I suspect that the timer is inop. Knowing that it will not defrost the evaporator until I get the new timer installed. Will it affect the cooling of the refrigerator or freezer short term ?
