Inside the door there is an area right above the filter. Inside this area is a type of rubberized material that is disintergrating. Is there a replacement for this? Is it necessary and should it be replaced?

Answer Hello Jerry. Is the part your looking for the seal ring WE9X30? This is located at the front of the drum and is above the filter. It is the glide for the drum. It is important for this to be on the dryer. Hope this helps.
