The drain hose that comes out the back of the washer is leaking and I don't know what part to get. I need to have it long enough to fit from the bottom of the washer to past the top where the drain hole in the wall is.

Spin cycle starts but quickly defaults to quick rinse and stops. Pump whines and then engages.

I am attaching a washing machine lint filter (Filtrol 160). Problem is the drain hose is plastic and I need a rubber hose to obtain a seal on the filter. To make matters worse, the washer outlet is a female opening instead of a typical outlet fitting that protrudes from the back. Is there any type of coupling that fits into the back of the washer and can attach to a 1" rubber hose? Please help!

Answer Hello Steve, I'm sorry to say that on this model, there is no other connector that I've ever heard of that will work. This unit is a bit of an oddity in design. You will have to contact the manufacturer for information, if any,on the add-on you're trying to install.

Answer Hello Roy. You will need to remove the front panel of the washer and run the unit looking for the leak. It may be leaking from the flood gasket WH1X2729. If so, you will need to replace the gasket. Hope this helps.

Under the tub there is a section of a ridged drain hose that is connected to a flexible hose and goes to one up the back of the unit to exit. I need that short section of the ridged hose pipe.
