Machine is one year old and out of warranty. Water stopped filling up in the machine regardless of level setting. Water level stays low even when I have it set to extra large load. GE tech states that load level switch could be bad. I find this hard to believe. Is there a tube that is attached to the switch that can become clogged with soap that has to be blown out?

Ge washer I purchased does not have a long enough drain hose , need about 4 1/2 more feet to reach the slop sink where it will drain (about 7-8 feet altogether) .I tried to extend with plastic drain hose from lowe's but even with clamps it leaks. do they make a longer drain hose for this model?(about 8') or an extension that will connect to my original hose that would give me that. Thanks , John.

I just bought the washer a few days ago and it wont fit in the closet where the old one was because the drain hose sticks to far out the back.. I was wondering if they make a 90 degree elbow for the drain hose right off the washer for tight spaces?
