Bought a used washer today but the drain hose was torn up. All the "universal fit" hoses seem to fit over an elbow connection, but this washer doesn't have an elbow connection. The existing hose screws into the back of the washer. We didn't see a clip of any kind, but the matching part # on this site has a clip. We're confused!

GE came up with this odd drain hose WH41X10096 when they made this one. The universal hoses will, obviously, not fit. This is the only drain line that will work and the clip WH16X513 is also necessary. Be advised that when this is properly installed, it still cannot contact anything during normal operation since it will leak when pressure is applied close to the end that connects to the unit. The screws WH02X10002 will be necessary unless you still have the originals. You will need order two if two are needed because they are sold individually.
