Latest Questions

I have an older model Hotpoint dryer. It eventually stopped blowing hot air. It still works fine except for that. I was told it was either the Heating element or the thermal fuse. I have no clue to where they are even located. In lamen terms.

I'm wanting to replace the heating element coils only, on this old GE dryer. I put in my part # at the beginning of my search, but when results came up, my part # was one letter different, even though I typed in my part # correctly, as shown on the panel on my dryer. With all that being said, I just want to make sure I get the perfect fit replacement and I don't want to get the wrong part and go through that. So, my model # is DDE7108PJLWH, and I need the two coils that are in the back of the tub and go around the circular housing. Mine are burned into, and I'm wondering is it safe to only replace the coils? This is more info that might help me to get the perfect fit coils, 240v, 60hz, 5600w, 24a, this is all the info on the panel. I'm wanting to save as much money as possible, this dryer is very old and not worth investing a lot of money into it. I thank you very much if you could help me on this issue.
