GE AP3995088 / WE1M654 Dryer Timer Knob Assembly. Does this replacement part include the metal clip that slides over the shaft?
Answer Hello Paul,
This knob simply slides onto the "D" shaft of the timer. This is usually found on the dryer timer. The knob with the retaining clip is on the washer where the knob is also used as the on/off switch by pulling out and pushing in on the knob. I cannot look up any part numbers for you without the model number from the units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Dryer timer has power but does not advance. The knobs were replaced, the timer was replaced & the moisture sensor was cleaned, but no change. HELP
The most likely cause for the issue with your unit is that the neutral circuit in the dryness display is not making and causing the timer not to advance. The part number for the dryness display is 33002389.
