My Repair & Advice
Removed the corner of the lower back panel on the refrigerator to get access to the valve and determine the location of the leak. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator. Unplug the refrigerator. Remove the mounting screw for the valve. Remove the existing valve: unscrew the copper water supply line, remove the two plastic water lines, disconnect the electrical connectors. Order the replacement valve, which arrived the next day, even with standard shipping - which is likely due to proximity to the warehouse it shipped from. Install the new valve: attach plastic lines, attach copper line (had to also use a new ferrule and cap - as the old one was worn out) tighten as needed, attach electrical connectors. Turn on water, check connections, tighten more if needed. Plug in frig and hope for best. Valve functioned properly.
