My ice maker tubing is leaking from somewhere other than on the back or in the freezer compartment.
Is it necessary to turn the ref. on it's side to replace all the tubing or is there an easier way?
Answer James, You don't really need to lay the refrigerator on its sides or back, actually you don't want to do it that way. It usually creates other issues. What you want to do is move the refrigerator out of the cabinet, remove the lower rear compartment cover, you may want to remove the front kick plate as well and check the tubing underneath the refrigerator. Depending on the model number (the one you attached is for a washing machine) the 1/4 inch plastic ice maker tube is attached to the fill valve and is routed behind the compartment cover and then up to the ice maker grommet on the back wall of the refrigerator. It's not a very difficult repair to make.
