What would be the correct heating element for my oven? I have looked on line and am not quite sure if this stove is discontinued; if so, is there a heating element that would be comparable?

Our oven's heating element blew up today in a quite dramatic & scary way. Huge arc & sparks & shooting flames. Tripped the circuit breaker. It was real loud. I had the door open but luckily for me I was turning away & hearing it ran the other way. My husband was facing it & saw it I just saw bright light. So... now we are replacing all the elements. Since it's 7 to 8 years old. Question 1 are the broiler element & bake element the same part? I don't see a dedicated bake element part or broiler element part. Are these the right ones for my oven? And, do the elements usually burn out in such a display? It could have been bad if I'd been holding a heavy pot of hot food when that happened. Should I contact the folks at GE? I now have read blogs that say they really don't care. After flipping the breaker back on (definitely keeping the spark-alater oven off) the circuit board & other oven work fine. Please advise.
