I have a ge dishwasher model gsd900-03and my dip stick dispenser will not stay in the hole. It is identical to the one shown 4390010 wd12x10284 except it does have a washer positioned under the largest part of the dipstick and directly above the rings that should fit in the hole. I removed the washer, but it makes no difference. It will not catch and stay in the hole. They are not showing an o-ring for the cap assembly WD12X10284.

My dishwasher can't 100% clean the dishes. there is always some tiny black dirt attached on some dishes/glasses, but majority are clean. I wonder if it is because this cap is missing? Thanks!

I replaced the timer today only to find out that when I re-assembled the inside panel, the detergent cup filler cap will not lock into place. The spring is doing it's job but am I supposed to hold the cap shut when putting the panel back, and ,if so, how do you line it up with the arm? Thanks - Philip

Dishwasher is leaking from bottom of door, but gasket is ok. The fill cap is missing, however. Is that the probable cause of the leak? Also, what is the fill cap for?
