Answer Hello Shah, GE came out with a service bulletin regarding the coarse filter studs breaking off. Their fix is the coarse filter service dome WD22X10023. To install the coarse filter service dome, remove the spray arm and place the dome over the spray arm pedestal on the bottom of the tub. Screw the spray arm back into the pump connector. The spray arm hub will hold the dome and filter in place.

Answer Hi. To remove the spray arm, the sleeve on the bottom of the spray arm unscrews. Remove the screw that hold the sump inlet cover part # WD12X10040. Then you will be able to lift the filter/gasket assy. part # WD22X10043. Thank You.

Answer Hello. You do not remove the sprayer first. You will insert the screw driver under the spray arm in the hole and unscrew the spray arm assembly. These are not glued down, but can be tight. Hope this helps.
