My GE Profile cooktop (JGP933WEC2WW) has become loose. I'm assuming I need to remove it and replace the foam tape. I haven't located PN AP3415963 tape so I'm hoping this one will work. I also have one burner where the igniter doesn't work when using that burner knob and I'm looking for which parts to replace. It will ignite if using another knob for the igniter while turning on the gas for that burner.

Will wb2x9902 foam tape work to secure the front door outer glass on this electric range? I see it is used for cook tops.

Latest Questions

New cooktop does not fit flush on granite countertop due to clips holding cooktop glass to cooktop metal case. This has created a gap between the cooktop glass underside and the countertop that will allow boilover spills to get beneath the cooktop and into cabinet space below cooktop. Can I use some type of heat resistant sticky one-sided foam tape to fill the gap? If so, what do I need to use and where can I get it?

I'm looking for the foam tape that is applied beneath the glass around the edge of the cooktop that sits between the counter and the glass. Is this foam tape correct? it looks kind of short. Or is there another part that is for a 30" wide cooktop. Looking for the tape supply by GE. Thank you!

The front glass and stainless steel sheet fell off stove, it's held on by double sided tape across the bottom? Where do I get that and what's the part #? I keep coming up with foam tape and can't see that holding the glass on, no help from GE either. Thanks.
