Answer Larry, you do not need any glue or silicone for the gasket WR24X10295 replacement. Pull the old gasket off. It may be best to soak the new gasket in warm water to help take its shape/form. The new gasket will press into the door liner. You may need to use a hair dryer to form the seal, be careful not to melt it. Hope this helps, thanks!
