Answer Bill, the door will need to be removed in order to install the seal and remove the screws from the existing seal. Pull the old gasket off. The new gasket will press into the door liner. With the installation, you will have to screw in the corners first and do every other screw on each side to tighthen. It may be best to soak the new gasket in warm water to help take its shape/form. You may need to use a hair dryer to form the seal, be careful not to melt it. Hope it helps.
