Guide Rail Bracket Part Number: AP3794558 The instructions for replacement on the website are wrong. There are not screws attaching these guide rails to the side. I don't want to start prying and possibly damage the interior. What is the correct method for replacement?
Answer Hello Danny,
The manufacturer has no information on this but in studying the service manual, I found a picture of the outside of the unit with the insulation off and you can see the four screws that hold the roller assemblies in place. In light of this information, I would recommend to pull the unit out about one foot from its' installed position to access the screws.
The rollers on two of the guide rail brackets for the sliding rack keep popping off. I have ordered two replacement parts = WD12X10175 but can't see how to remove the faulty brackets or how to install the new ones. Any help?
Answer Hello Pat! You will need to remove the end caps at each end of the guide rail. Once those are remove pull out the rack and remove the two end caps at the other end of the guide rail. Inspect the part to see if there are any screws and if so, remove the screws. Remove screws holding the rollers in place. You will install the parts in reverse order. Hope this information helps you. Thanks!
