My bulb keeps blowing when I insert a new one. WHY?

Answer Hello Harry,
The bulb will be blown by excessive current flow in the circuit. I would check for the proper voltage, (120 Volts), at the light socket. If it is present, check the light switch/door switch for resistance. If it shows resistance instead of a straight through connection with no resistance, the switch is the issue. If this tests good, the control WB27T10297 will have to be changed. Also, never change the bulb with power to the unit. The sudden surge of voltage will most assuredly blow the bulb.
