model # DSS25MSSESS lights in the to not working. Tested with a tester and no power. Changed light bulbs still not working. Took off unit where light bulbs fit . Disconnected harness and tested is power going to the harness assembly. Yes power there. Is it possible the harness assembly has a problem. Please let me know . I thank you in this matter.

Answer Dave, Yes, it is possible to have a "weak" or loose connection in a harness. Based on your post, you have voltage, to the harness, But if there's a weak or loose connection, when the light illuminates, the voltage won't pass the weak connection and voltage disappears, theres not enough of a connection to "carry the load" 120 VAC to illuminate the light bulb.
How do you do a continuity check on this item and is it open or closed when warm?
Dmarti for Model Number PSH23PGRA
Answer Hello Dmarti. You will check for continutiy when cold. The thermostat WR23X10209 should read closed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
