what does the heater thaw do does it thaw the evap in the refridgerator side during defrost

Answer Johnny, the Thaw Heater, is part of the "custom cool" portion of the refrigerator air flow. It keeps frost and ice from developping in the custom cool assembly, not the evaporator. If you have frost or ice developing in the vent then that's a good place to start.

do u have a video on how to remove plastic covers on custom cool. So I can get to fan and heater to test./ thank you
