Answer Marc, The cam is what allows the door to raise and lower. If one of the cams is bad then it is likely the other on the same side would be bad as well. You would need to get the Lower hinge kit WR13X10020.

frt refrig rt cam disintegrated. Is this a cam only appears riveted to hinge. Is hinge assembly wr49x5124 a two part assembly? Is ther also a shim?

Answer Joe, The hinge comes with the cam assembly. It is a 2 part consisting of the hinge with cam riveted to it and with the upper cam.

This hinge assembly looks like the correct one, however, I can't tell if it will accomodate a drain hose to be threaded through it. Also, I had ordered the little black washer (shim cam?)but when I went to install it, the original one was riveted to the hinge. That is the part that I saw break, causing my freezer door not to stay closed, so I thought that this small washer was all that I needed. I'm just wanting to make sure of it fitting and will take care of my problem. Thank you for any help you can give. Clara part#AP2635796
