Where can I find my model number?

I had trouble opening door beyond approx 4 inches. It seemed hung up on left side. Called GE Service and the Tech who came said I needed anew hinge. He gave me a price of $331.58 for replacement of TWO hinges....said I'd probably need the right hinge in 2-3 months. Although unit is 10 yrs old this oven has had limited use compared to the 40 yr old unit it replaced. My question: Is this replacement something an untrained person can do? Do you have instructions? Thanks

Answer Hello Jim. You will need to open the door and remove the screws located underneath the cooktop. This will enable you to lift up the cooktop enough the side panels out. To remove the panels, you will have to slide the unit out and unscrew the screws holding the side panels on. They should slide out forward, then you will have access to the hinge WB10T10007.
