The refrigerator opens with the right door first then open left door. Attached to the left door is a flipper strip that seals between the right , and left door.. I broke the top plastic french hinge item #WR13X10516.
the first tech answered how to remove the entire door but I didnt have a modle # for him at that time. Its not the door its the hinge to the flipper strip on the left door.
Answer Donna, here's some information, that should help you through the repair: To remove the articulating door mullion assembly: 1. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, pry off the 2 screw caps.2. Remove the 2 Phillips-head screws from the wire harness cover. 3. Grasp the mullion and pull it vertically upward to release it from the top and bottom retainers.4. Pull out and disconnect the wire harness. Good Luck and Thanks,
I dont have the modle number but its a GE refrigerator with french doors. We bought it in 2008. The part is a hinge french. I opened the left door by accident and broke the top plastic hinge on the flipper strip on left door.
