My ice container seems to be riding low causing the freezer door to hit when closing. The both of the brackets seem to be fine. The bottom of the ice bin looks like it has a guide/skid that should ride on the left bracket but is not even close to touching. Any idea's Thanks for the help!
Answer Wally, This can occur, especially on older refrigerators. After a few years the insulation "settles" and the interior walls can develop a void. The easiest and least expensive repair, remove the bin, and one side wall bracket. Take the screw to the local hardware store home improvement center etc. and purchase a couple on matching screws but slightly longer, and a few plastic or nylon washers. Insert one or two washer(s) between the bracket and the wall, remount the bracket using the longer screws and you should be fine.
