The part number I need is Ignitor Switch State Tool & Mfg 25070-0 1/10 amp 120 vac for my GE Self Cleaning stove. Is this part the same thing?
If you are referring to the switch that sits on the valve for the burner then yes part number WB24X379 would be the correct switch for your unit.
My gas range back burners ignite and burn fine. The front two don't ignite but burn ok with a lighter lighting them. My guess is the ignition switches that were worn out from uses. Can you confirm?
To check to make sure that your ignition switches are ok you would want to do a continuity check with the gas turned off to unit and the switches in the on position. If there is no continuity then the switches are bad and if there is then you would would to check the electrode for continuity and check for cracks in the insulation.
