Hi, my right front burner won't work. When I turn the nob to turn on the fire to cook, the burner doesn't click and it doesn't ignite. Should I just get an igniter? Also, I have been turning the nob at resting position of about 11:30 and not straight up at 12:00 position because the 12:00 position seems to cause the other burners to click. I hope you understand what I'm describing.

Answer Hello Esther,
You will want to do a continuity test on the burner switches. Turn the gas off and access control knobs. With the burner turned on you should have continuity through the leads on the ignition switch. If not then replace ignition switch. If ignition switches check ok then check wiring and if it checks good then you can check the ignitor by doing a continuity test on the ignitor and check for the ignitor being cracked or broken.
My cook top has 5 burners... 2 work fine and other three do not turn on. I do hear the clicking and i do see the spark, but the burner will not go on.The burner will light up if i use a match... not sure how to repair this issue?
Ahab Guirguis for Model Number ZGU660 / ZGU661
Answer Ahab, Check and make sure the burner bases, burner caps, igniters and drip bowls are perfectly clean, no residue, no debris, and no spillage. Make sure the correct cap is on the correct burner base, If the problem persists suspect a weak spark module WB20X133. Thanks
What type of valve would I need for the above gas cooktop?
