I need to replace my Dual Burner Switch. The part number on the switch is 164D3897P001. It seems this is WB24T10031 which has 5 connectors. The replacement is WB24T10058 which has 6 connectors. I would like to find out whether the new switch come with cross reference wiring diagram or where can I get it before buying this switch. Thanks.

I need instructions on how to install this part. There are two terminals missing from the new switch. S1 and S2 on the new switch are not there. There are slots in the housing for the terminal tab, but the tabs are missing.

I need to replace my infinte switch for the right front dual burner. The symptoms are: If I turn the knob switch on or off it works, but if I turn the knob to low stays high all the time. I recently replaced the actual heating element because the center area stop working. Now it works but cannot control the heating. Also I tested for continuity in the actual infinite switch and having the switch turned off I still got continuity from L2 to H2 (which assume should not have when the switch is off). The other tests did work (continuity on l1-h1 l2-h2 l1-p when the switch is on). My question is: I've been told my old switch wb24t0031 is discontinued and I should get wb24t10058; however when I look at the back part my old it has 5 connectors; labeled P1, L1, L2, H1 and H2 but the new model seems to have 6. Also I read someone having trouble due to the new model having different labels. ( I cannot see the labels from the picture) Before I buy the part I would like to know what the correct mapping is from my old part to the new one.
