I ordered a part for my GE side by side and received it yesterday andhave questions for installation, the instruction says there is a screw to remove but could not find one. the part # is AP3207308 for model # pss26mgcpbcc, is there a video I could see?
Answer Susie, APP doesn't have a video of this repair at present. Removal is relatively easy, and there aren't any screws involved with replacement of the WR55X10306 Interface Display Assembly. " The dispenser interface can be removed to access the display board and the dispenser shield mounting screws. The interface is held in place by 4 tabs that hold it to the dispenser recess. To remove the interface, it is necessary to grasp the bottom lip of the interface on either side and gently pull it towards you. There are 3 wire harnesses connected to the display board. Note: The interface and display board are replaced as a complete assembly. When assembling, insert top tabs into the top of
dispenser recess first, then snap the bottom into place." If you need a video, you may want to review the You Tube Video site, there may be something there you could use to get a better idea.
I need this part for my Profile refrigerator (Interface Disp Asm Bq. part # AP3207308). Does this part come with installation instruction? Can I do this myself? Is there a video for the installation on the internet?
This part can be replaced easily by grabbing the bottom of the interface and pulling straight out. Disconnect the wires and install the new one and put top in first. Here is a video that will show you but you do not have to remove the outer trim panel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JfytU8tO0k
