Ge profile dishwasher model zbd6880k15ss will not power on. I was having issues with the control panel on the door prior to it completely not working. I checked the power supply and is getting power.

Sometimes when you start the dishwasher you can hear the water run in and then the cycle will begin normally. However, sometimes when you start the dishwasher the water will run in but the cycle will not start. If you stop/restart the cycle and let the water pump out so that all the lights on the panel are off and the push ALL of the buttons on the control panel and then start the cycle again it will usually go ahead and run the cycle normally. What is causing this?
