How is the keypad removed ? Do I need to remove the inside panel?

Answer Hello GB. Yes, you will need to remove the inner door panel to access the ribbon cable and replace the key pad WD34X11210. Make sure the power is disconnected before doing the repair. Hope this helps.
While installing new tile I turned the power off to my dishwasher. I do have power to my dishwasher now but it will not run. Could I have shorted out the key pad? Any suggestion on what it could be. Thanks Dwight

Answer Hello Dwight. Check and make sure there is power coming to the control board. If not, you will need to check the door switch WD13X10031. If it is bad, the unit will not run. If it is good and there is power tot he module, replace the key pad WD34X11210. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
