My ice maker will not switchover from crushed ice to whole ice. I watched it from the inside and it looks like it doesn't have enough power to lift the arm up to make the switch over.

My ice maker will make ice, but the thing inside will not turn to make ice come out though the door. What is wrong? It will just click.

Water and icemaker quit. There is water from filter down to solenoid. Any way to check solenoid or should I just replace it?

I see a lot of questions about getting crushed ice but no cubes. I have the opposite problem. Cubes but no crushed ice. When I push the switch for cubes the solenoid moves and the auger turns. When I move to the crushed switch the auger does not move. Is this a control board issue? Water also works fine.

I recently replaced the solenoid assembly. I've noticed that the solenoid doesn't always activate. Is this normal operation? Should do the moving parts require lubrication? I can move the parts by hand, sometimes it takes moderate force.

I have ordered this solenoid due to the original ( WR62X0058 ) failing. The new parts pin has a hole and no slot for the location the original was in to fit it. And the mounting bracket is different and I don't see this fitting. Could you inform me of any installation changes? I've been told that the original has been discontinued so there may be changes.
