Answer Hello Lou, Based on the information provided it sounds like the spring WD3X764 and latch WD16X10011 may be bad.

Answer Hello T. Clean all parts and make sure they are working freely. If so, test for power coming to the actuator of the dispenser assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Hello Tom. There should be nothing on the control panel with lights on. Also, you can disconnect the power to the unit before any repairs are done. Hope this helps.

Answer Glenn, you need to make sure, the timer dial is in the off increment, or the mechanical latch will not latch and lock the door. I don't think the timer cam will be bad but it is a possibility, I would start by dismantling the door and checking the catch lever and the tension spring on the dispenser. Thanks and Good Luck.
