About 5 minutes into the wash cycle of my washer, a loud clicking noise starts and last for a few minutes. Then the washer stops and sits for 3-4 minutes. When it begins again it does not continue on the wash cycle, but starts to drain and then spin (so my clothes are only getting washed for that initial 5 minutes). During the spin I hear the loud clicking noise again. It then continues through the other cycles and I don't hear the clicking noise again. What could be causing this?

Answer Nora, This issue sounds like it would be an issue with the control board on the unit. The clicking noise would be the relays on the board WH12X10138.

The start button is not working. We push it in and it is not turning on. Will part #ap3422790 / mfg. part #wh12x10225 be the right part?

Answer Hello John, You should first check the lid switch WH12X10141 and the lid switch magnet WH12X10092. These are trhe most common cause of the complaint you have listed.

My washer will complete wash cycle and then when it goes to spin out, it will stop. I can here the humming sound of the motor and I would lift the washer lid and close it back down and it would start, sometimes and other times it would not work, I would have to hit the start button to get it onto the spin cycle now nothing works. The humming is still there but none of my 2 options work any more.

Answer Hello Debbie. Check and see if the pump is draining on the unit. If not, then it sounds like the pump is the issue of the no spin. If it is not clogged, you will need to replace the pump on the unit.

Our GE washser model # wbse2090 is skipping the final spin cycle and I hear the motor running specially with heavy loads but it does not spin. Pump and Agitator coupling just got changed and did not solve the problem. To get it started on the spin cycle I move the timer to the final spin cycle and push the start button more than once, remove some of the cloths and put them back after it starts spining. Is it the lid switch or Clutch that need to be replaced. Thank you

Answer Hello T H This would not be a lid switch issue but a clutch issue. The clutch WH5X256 and belt would need to be replaced WH1X2026.

The wash machine will fill and will not start wash cycle. Would this be the lid switch causing it not to start? Also sometime it will start washing and stop before it completes the cycle.
