Dishes are not coming clean. I noticed the spray arm in your parts section shows one hole on the bottom. mine has two. could this be problem? any suggestion what else it could be?
Answer Brian, Sorry but No, the number of jet openings in the spray arm wouldn't affect the wash cycle, just make sure the spray arm rotates freely, and doesn't "stick" in any one place. Make sure there is no debris or sediment protruding from the openings. The possible problem is low water level, try this, start the dishwasher and let it fill and wash for 3 to 5 minutes. unlatch the door, and remove the lower rack. in the left front corner of the tub is the float dome, the water level should measure 3/4 to 1 inch deep in this area, if not there's not enough water in the tub and pump to properly circulate and wash the dishes. This usually requires a replacement of the fill valve WD15X93 .
How difficult is it for a non technical person to replace the spray arm. Part #501?
Answer Hi Larry. There should be a little "wobble" in the lower spray arm, but nothing like you're describing. I would think, you'll need to remove the lower rack, "pop up" nozzle, and spray arm. There should be a small screw holding the nozzle support, split ring and arm together.
Part # WD22X135. Thank You.
