We have a GE Model AZ38H15DABM1 HVAC. Our contractor originally set it up with a wall thermostat. I was changing the temp and static electric burned up the thermostat. Disconnected the wall thermostat from unit. Couldn't get the HVAC controls to work. Do I need to replace the Control Board?

I had a repair man come to 'fix' my zoneline unit. He installed a new main power board, With the auxiliary control #4 up, the heat doesn't seem to turn on at all, but the air does. With the auxiliary control #4 down, the heat turns on for about a minute, but then when the compressor kicks in, it blows cold air again. Is the wiring incorrect perhaps?

The REVERSING VALVE does not work. I replaced the coil with a new one: WP58X10001. The Old coil reads 2.122 K Ohms and the New one reads 2.133 K Ohms. The Unit Heats on both Cool and Heat settings. I also replace the Main Card on the GEH : card part # WP26X10026 (Main PWB-K). The Unit again Heats on both Cool and Heat settings. Can the Relay be bad that controls the Reversing Valve Coil? Can I purchase a new relay control card, located inside main control unit housing?

I had the GE technician out and he said I had a bad main control board on my Zoneline. Is there any software that needs to be uploaded on this board or am I good to go, just install as purchased? Also I notice it has a lot of plastic spacers holding the board on the parts diagram. Will I need to order those too? How do you remove those? Can they be reused?
