How do I remove the glass top in order to replace new burner element?

Answer Hi Lance. You remove power to the unit. Then open the door , lock the hinges and remove the door. Under the front Lt. and Rt. corners are 2- screws that hold the top down. Then lift up carefully and figure out how to release the hinges off the rear of the top. Unplug the wiring harness connector. Then you will be able to access your burner in question. Thank you.
