I was making my thanksgiving turkey using the oven meat probe. When pressing the meat probe symbol to set the temperature, it kept showing the rotissiere symbol. I took the meat probe out of the oven wall receptacle and found that the the metal bulb portion of the plug end did not come. There is just a metal cylinder at the end of the plug, no bulb. How do I get the probe to work???!!! It's Thanksgiving!!!! I was expecting my beloved, reliable Gaggenau to work perfectly, as usual. What do I do now??? Turning the metal cynlinder in the socket does not work to reattach the bulb. The bulb somehow got detached. And, yes, we have cleaned out the drawer where we keep it to make sure it didn't fall off. I am bery distraught!!! I depended on this probe to perfectly cook meats - the prime ribs are exquisite. Now it doesn't work!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!

While attempting to disengage the meat probe from its socket I found that the probe covering had melted, and I am unable to pull the probe plug from its socket. I applied quite a bit of force and it will not disengage.(In fact the probe broke off leaving about 3/8" to 1/2" sticking out from the socket.) Is there a method to allow the probe plug to be disconnected from its socket? Thank you
