Our oven temperature is never stays close to the temp we set it for. What parts can I replace to get the oven to stay at the temp we set?
Answer Hello Bob. You need to test the oven temp sensor WB20K10015 for the unit. If it is bad, it can cause the issue your having. It should read around 1100 ohms at room temp and 1650 ohms at 350°. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
We are getting error F7 and F8 on the control panel of our GE gas range. Someone suggested replace the control panel. I am not sure which part I need to buy.I see you have membrane assy and something else.
Answer Tony, The "F7" error code indicates a failure in the membrane / key pad assembly WB27K10115 . The "F8" error code indicates an issue in the ERC/Clock assembly WB27K10147. What you may want to try is, replace the ERC, and clean the insertion end (the end that plugs intio the clock connector) of the touchpad ribbon with rubbing alcohol or electrical contact cleaner. If you had a supply voltage issue, you may want to replace both parts. Thanks
