My GE cooktop can not be lit (all four burners). I replaced the transformer and the module spark. Pluged in, it worked for one dinner cook and next day the cooktop can not lit again. What went wrong? Could this due to both parts defect, or just one of them, or something else has problem?
Answer Hello Nessa,
You will want to check the switches on the valve. When you check them you will check for continuity. With them in the off position they should read open and when in the on position they should read closed. You also want to check your wiring from the switches to the spark module for broken or loose wiring.
