I have the same issue as everyone has with this GE washer , will fill but will not agitate. I opened the front panel and able to locate the motor but can't seem to find the motor inverter to identify the flashing lights. Do i have to remove the drip cover on top of the motor to see the flashing lights ? Please advice, thanks

Washer will fill with water and pump out but will not agitate and spin. There are 6 flashing green lights on top of the motor. The mode shifter reads about 96.0 ohms, the fuse reads about 00.5 ohms, and the motor reads about 00.1 ohms. What can I check next?

Latest Questions

My dishwasher stopped working after a power outage. We purchased a new control board from you guys and it still didn't solve the problem. We were told to check the fuse, which we did and it read good except the fuse was still attached to the unplugged dishwasher. Does that need to be removed for an accurate reading? Also , how would I test the control board exactly to see if it is getting 120Volts? is there any danger of electric shock by testing it as well?Thank you

My Brake circuit is out in my washer motor. What is the value of the brake resistor located in the inverter cover? Mine is open and I have access to some used parts. I would like to change this out and see if the motor and brake circuit operate correctly.

My washer fills with water to the desired level but will not agitate or spin. There are no error codes on the flashing led on the motor control board as it runs continuously in ready state with one second on and one second off. The lid switch works fine as it has continuity when it is magnetized (lid closed). The thermo fuse is fine as it also has continuity. The mode shifter reads approximately 65.7 ohms. The motor windings read about .7 ohms. There is no short on the motor windings to the laminations. The timer was replaced but there was no change. The motor spins freely by hand. The belt has been removed and everything turns freely. The motor has been reset by unplugging the washer and repowering the unit and opening and closing the unit 6 times. What can I check next?
