I have the same issue as everyone has with this GE washer , will fill but will not agitate. I opened the front panel and able to locate the motor but can't seem to find the motor inverter to identify the flashing lights. Do i have to remove the drip cover on top of the motor to see the flashing lights ? Please advice, thanks
The light should be visible without taking the cover off. If there is no lite flashing then you will want to check the thermal fuse that is in the wiring at the right corner of the unit. Test the thermal fuse WH49X10055 for continuity. If there is no continuity then it is bad and would need to be replaced. If it checks ok then check the motor for power and if there is power to the motor then the motor WH20X10093 is faulty and would need to be replaced.
