I'm getting an error stating, "Clutch not mechanically engaging with basket." Washer will fill and drain during the diagnostic cycle and I can hear the load sensing function working. Is there any additional troubleshooting I can do to confirm what to replace? From research, it sounds like it could be the motor with clutch assembly, the inverter PCB or loose wiring. Thank you in advance.

Answer Hello Ken. Check and make sure nothing is between the inner and outer tub assembly. If not, then you will need to order and replace the machine housing assembly WH39X10003 in the unit.

My washing machine doesn't seem to agitate. When I put it in a wash cycle it starts to fill up and sometimes complete the fill, starts to agitate and then 'stops and throws an error message. Then I put it in spin mode and it seem to drain and then complete the spin cycle(95% of the time) sometimes it throws an error again. The errors in Diag has been: "The motor is not rotating properly. Check and replace if necessary" "The clutch is not mechanically with the basket properly" If it is spinning properly how can the motor not be rotating properly? I had a technician come out and replace the Motor Asm W/clutch but that didnt seem to help. He did take it out before he left. Also he replaced some sensor, not sure which part that was, neither fixed the problem and he gave up and left. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Answer Hello Apurva. You will need to check and see if the sensor wiring for the stator WH39X10004 is bad on the unit. If so, it will cause the unit to throw the codes. If the wiring is good, and the codes come, and the motor is turning, then the stator will need to be replaced on the unit, or the magnets in the rotor WH39X10005 are cracked and will need to be replaced.

I followed your advice concering my last question about the clutch motor. Mine is working. I still have the " the motor is not rotating properly check and replace" error message. I have 92 volts going to the main motor, but the motor only "jerks" right before it goes into the error. Is the main motor the cause or is it the Hall sensor? IF it is the hall sensor can it be purchased separate from the rotor assembley??

Answer Hello Roger. You will need to check and make sure the wiring on the unit is good and the connections are good and tight. If so, and the unit is not running properly, you will need to replace the stator assembly WH39X10004 on the unit. Make sure the magnets in the rotor are not cracked or broken on the unit.
