Answer BMB, The first thing that you will want to check is to make sure that the switch on the dispenser is not stuck. If the switch is not stuck then the most likely cause would either be the wiring being bad and touching to ground to complete the circuit or the control board being faulty.

Answer Holley, If you grasp the face of the dispenser where the knobs are the face will come off. Once off there will be screws holding the assembly in place, Remove the screws and disconnect the wiring. Remove old board and install new board.

Answer Mike, At this point, the issue would be in the control board WR55X129. The auger motor should run the same in either direction/selection, also you should hear or see the the solenoid actuate to open the bin door and move the cubed ice through the dispenser.

Answer Hello Lourdes, Before you order anything, you should remove the crusher bin and put a hair dryer in there blowing toward the auger motor for about 15 minutes. This will most likely melt off a frost build-up and allow the motor to turn. I know you are saying, "this guy is crazy", but 2/3 of the time this makes it work. If it does work for you, turn the freezer to one setting warmer and check the ice door, the freezer door seal, and the fresh food door seal for any signs of an air leak. You see, when there is an air leak the heavier cold air drops out and the warm, humid, room temperature air is drawn in to take it's place. When this occurs the moisture will condense on the colder items. Just so happens that the metal parts such as the motor is where the moisture wants to condense. Since it is in the freezer compartment, as soon as the moisture condenses, it freezes. If it freezes on the motor, the motor freezes up so it can't turn.

Answer Hi Rob. Keep in mind the auger will work one way in 75° or better. In a frozen atmosphere it may contract to a point to where the gears drag or the motor fails part # [WR60X10262]. Make sure there is 120 vac going to the motor part # WR60X10262 while the door switch is tapped shut and you are calling for ice. This will tell you that the fountain control board is good part # WR55X78 is OK. Use a volt/ohm meter part #@ TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Look at the Freezer door switch part # WR23X192 and see if the connections there are tight and ok. Correct them if not. Thank You.
