Hello - my washer does not spin or agitate...it is a GE WPRE6100G2WT & I am looking for the correct motor part number for this machine, unfortunately I was not able to locate it on the item. Where can I look for it or are you able to suggest a part # for this motor in order to be replaced?

I'm getting 4 flashes on the motor, and the mode shifter coil is open. However, I've read that some motors have a firmware defect that blows the shifter if the door is opened at the wrong time. The part # of the motor on mine is 175D5106G030. Apparently, high voltage is applied to the shifter for too long, which blows a thermal cutout. Is this motor firmware issue correct? Wouldn't GE be obligated to repair/replace washers with this problem since they are damaging themselves?

Hello- after replacing the clutch assembly in my GE washer I now get the LED lights flashing 4 times on the motor and based on the instructions provided, it translates to a failing mode shift circuit and should check the mode shifter coil! Does this mean the motor needs to be replaced?!!! Thanks
