I have a 3 flash error code on my WH20X10066 motor. I know the diagnostic sheet says Corrupted software and to replace the motor. Is there a way to reset this and have it work again or is it completely dead? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Washer only spin slowly. Check lid switch and belt=OK. Easy rotation of agitator on both way. Motor diagnostic led 9 short flash. Reset motor code but still spin slow and error code came back. I ordered a new motor. Before I replace the motor, what are the other verification I should perform? Why has the motor failed? Can you tell with the serial number how old is the unit? My serial is VS161628G. Thanks!

My motor does not run. I have sought out the error code but I see no flashing LED. I have seen many "how to" videos and know where the light is located. However, there is no flash.

Hello - my washer does not spin or agitate...it is a GE WPRE6100G2WT & I am looking for the correct motor part number for this machine, unfortunately I was not able to locate it on the item. Where can I look for it or are you able to suggest a part # for this motor in order to be replaced?

I'm getting 4 flashes on the motor, and the mode shifter coil is open. However, I've read that some motors have a firmware defect that blows the shifter if the door is opened at the wrong time. The part # of the motor on mine is 175D5106G030. Apparently, high voltage is applied to the shifter for too long, which blows a thermal cutout. Is this motor firmware issue correct? Wouldn't GE be obligated to repair/replace washers with this problem since they are damaging themselves?
