Water is collecting in the bottom of the dishwasher.
Answer Hello Sam. It sounds like the water valve is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
I am also trying to remove the pump housing nut. Could you please help me.
The fan blade seems to have come loose on the motor shaft. If i take the pump apart is there some way to tighten the fan to the motor shaft or do i have to replace the whole pump and motor?
Answer Wayne, Once you remove the motor/pump assembly from under the dishwasher, It'll be a lot easier to work with "To Remove Motor-Pump Mechanism: 1. Remove sump cover and cap. Remove all water from sump with syringe. 2. Loosen sump boot clamp. Loosen clamp from spray arm connector boot. 3. Remove hanger that holds motor to tub frame. 4. Motor-pump mechanism can now be removed from under
dishwasher." You're probably going to need the impeller/seal kit WD19X10032 to properly repair the assembly. Once the assembly is out, you'll be able to dismantle it by holding the motor shaft in position, and turning the screws, covers, etc. counterclockwise to remove the parts and reverse the procedure to install the components, and test the dishwasher. Thanks
