There was a power surge and now my oven and burners dont turn on. The "burner on" light turns on but no heat from the burners. Could the board be the cause of the burners? I thought it only controlled the oven. Also the light for the oven turns on.
Answer Paul, You are correct "Could the board be the cause of the burners? I thought it only controlled the oven. Also the light for the oven turns on." The ERC/Clock controls the oven, only. Your post information would indicate that you have lost one of the power "legs" to the range ( most likely the L2 / Red wire) You may want to try and reset the breakers at the breaker box a few times then check for 220 - 240 VAC at the terminal block on the back of the range.
Oven control WB27T11313. Is the front panel that has the functions printed on it, availible for replacement?
Answer Hello Logan. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
Is there any way to test my old part ?
Answer Hello Albert. Test for power coming into the control board. If so, then you will test for power coming out the board when set to bake and broil. If there is power coming into it, but none going out, you will need to replace the oven control WB27T11313. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
