Popping noise when element ignites?? I'm thinking there is a bit of gas build up - before element ignites??
Answer Hello Jovonna. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
I need a thermostat for my oven, is the oven control the same thing? The oven will not hold a temperature, it is either way too low or way to hot. Thanks.
Answer Hello Dennis! Your model does not have a thermostat, it uses the electronic control WB27T10083. Unfortunately, the oven control has been discontinued and is no longer available. You may want to check the oven sensor, part number WB21X5301. Thanks!
