Does part # ap3186914 oven control include the touch button surface? Your part photo shows the part without the button surface but your video shows it with the touch surface. Thank You
Answer Hello Fred,
The buttons are part of this clock assembly. The part you are referring to is simply a decorative overlay that labels the buttons and indicates the location of the buttons so they can be activated with a fingertip.
We did a self clean. The door locked and would not unlock after completed. Oven does not work now.
Answer Hello Patrick. It sounds like the latch WB2K42 is bad on the unit. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.
Popping noise when element ignites?? I'm thinking there is a bit of gas build up - before element ignites??
Answer Hello Jovonna. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
