How is this specific part (WR08X10061) replaced? Can you please provide instructions?
To replace the overload you will first unplug unit. Once unplugged you will need to remove the cover over the compressor compartment. With cover off you will remove the electrical cover on the side of the compressor. With cover removed you willl pull off the brown or black relay and then the overload. Disconnect wire from overload and install on new overload and replace. You will probably want to replace the relay at the same time as this is the part that would most commonly fail.
Refridge & freezer not cooling. The Condensor fan comes on but, the compresser never starts.
Answer Hello Philip. Test and see if there is power coming to the compressor. If there is power there, and the compressor is not running, you will need to test the compressor on the unit.
