Compressor is not running. I have 115VAC on the main board connector labeled compressor. There is also DC voltage on the thermistor input to the main circuit board. The circuit board and the run capacitor have been replaced. Could it be the overload relay?

My GEPFS22SIBSS uses this ptcr + olp assy. The control is sending voltage to this part (+ run capacitor). The compressor is hot, and a overload cycles. I don't know if it's this part or the AP3796033 overload that is tripping. The run capacitor checks good with a tester. I'm trying to figure out if the compressor suddenly failed/locked, or if the AP4300623 is faulty. What do you think?

I replaced the PTC & Overload Relay on our GE Profile refrigerator. A parts guy says I don't need the capacitor with the new WR07X10097 relay but it doesn't look to me that there is any capacitor in the new relay and it has same slots on the back of it that the original capacitor fits into. I went ahead and put it in in spite of what he said but just want to confirm. Thanks

GE Profile Mod#PFS22MISBWW. I replaced the main control board and now the temp is still sitting at 74 degrees. I hear compressor running but no cooling 3 hours later. Temp is the same for freezer and frig. What else could be wrong? Condenser fan is spinning nicely now though. It was only spinning slow when I gave a nudge before board replacement. I don’t hear any clicking noise and never have.
