I just received then start devise for the compressor - part WR07X10097 PTC+OLP ASM but I don't see any instructions on how to install it. When I had ordered parts for my oven previously I was able to find step by step instructions on how to change out the parts and looking for something similar here. Thanks and Happy New Year!

Hi, I am trying to replace the relay assembly for a GE GTS12BBMARWW, but I can't seem to find all the parts that I currently have, e.g. the old relay is solid state (ceramic disk inside), the new Relay PTCR (WR07X10031) will not fit in the old cover box as it has a different shape. What do I do? Is WR07X10097 what I need to order? Thank you for your help. As a side note, my refrigerator won't turn on, the lamp inside is on, but no sound whatsoever. Am I correct to assume that the problem is with the relay/capacitor? Tested the compressor and it has proper continuity.

I am trying to replace the overload relay. I cannot get it out of the unit that it is inserted in. I read some of the other comments and found that I should have purchased a P.t.c. + Olp AsmOEM which already has the relay in it. The one pictured for my refrigerator looks completely different than what I have. Am I looking at the wrong part or will it replace what I have? Do I need to also purchase the part that connects to the front of it? Why is the overload relay sold if it cannot be removed from the P.t.c. + Olp AsmOEM? Thanks
