When the oven is hot, the "0" cannot be entered into the temp. The oven has also shut-off unexpectedly while baking.
You will want to check to make sure that when the oven is running that the cooling fan is operational. If the cooling fan is not working it can cause other components, such as the control panel or control board, to not operate properly. If the cooling fan checks ok then the issue would most likely be a bad control panel.
The control panel face on my double ovens has melted. If I buy a new one will it be with glass like the newest ovens on the market? Thank you.
Answer Hello Ms. T! I've found model JT952SK3SS (S missing from the model number given). The control panel is part number WB36T10599. This is the original control panel and will be the same as what was currently on your product. Thanks!
The number 5 does not work when trying to set the oven. Also, sometimes the lower oven will not come on when the control panel button for the lower oven is pushed.
Answer Hello Ron! It sounds like the you have faulty ribbon plug on your control panel. You can disconnect the ribbon cable and remove any grime/dirt build up and plug it back in. If the functions still do not work, replace the panel. Your part number is WB36T10599. Thanks!
