I have a fridge that takes this power cord, one of the wires pulled out from somewhere in the harness, the other is still connected where it should be on the factory wire harness & the ground is grounded. Where do you splice into the factory wiring harness ? What color wires? Thanks!!!

Hi, The refrigerator at my job keeps freezing up & of course not working properly. The defrost heater has been replaced but it still won't defrost automatically. What other parts should be checked? I know how to test the defrost heater cut-out switch but if one or both of the thermistors are bad how can I check them? This unit alsp has a mother board. Can that be checked? If so, how is that checked? Is there any way to initiate a defrost cycle so I can see what is actually happening? Like, advancing the defrost timer (which this unit doesn't have) on an older model refrigerator. Rhanks so much for your time! Jim
